2009 CYC-St. Louis Cardinal Night

The 11th Annual CYC-St. Louis Cardinal Night was a success on a number of fronts.  Over 1500 CYC fans were treated to a  2-1 Cardinal win when Colby Rasmus launched his 10th inning walk-off home run deep into the right field bleachers.

CYC players and families paraded around the field to start the pre-game activities.  Then Corey Jokerst of St. Paul's Parish and Dylan Engelman of St David's Parish threw the first strikes of the night as they threw out the ceremonial first pitches.

In an effort to share the Cardinal experience with others in the community, the CYC donated tickets to Catholic Charities and to a number of homeless shelters.

Thank you to all who participated and made for another fun evening at the old ball game.
