Text Box: Marian Award   Just a reminder to the Moderators who have girls receiving the Marian Award in 2005.  All of your paperwork must be in the CYC office by December 15.  Marian Award Medals are $10.00, same as last year.   Day of Discipleship   The Day of Discipleship is scheduled for January 22, 2005.  It will be held at the Cardinal Rigali Center.  Check in begins at 9:00 am and the program starts at 9:30 am.  The Day concludes at 12:30 pm.  Girls should wear their Scout uniform, school uniform or a white blouse and dark skirt.  This day is mandatory for all those who will receive their Marian Award in 2005.   If you have girls playing CYC basketball, call the CYC office to have games rescheduled on Jan. 22 and March 6.  Don’t wait till you get your schedule.  It’s much easier to avoid the dates than it is to reschedule games.   Marian Award Moderator Training   Our next training day is February 12, 2005.  The training session begins at 9:00 am and is usually over by 12:30 pm.  All those who want to help their girls earn this award have to start with the training.  There is no cost for the training session, but you will want to buy at least one Mary the First Disciple workbook.  The books are $5.50.  Please call Jan at 314-792-7608 to reserve your place at the training session.   Presentation Sunday Presentation Sunday is March 6, 2005 at the Cathedral Basilica.  The prayer service begins at 2:45 pm.  Girl Scouts receiving awards should be at the cathedral at 2:00 wearing  Girl Scout uniform, School uniform or dark skirt and white blouse.
